International Spring Festival Volunteers

The 16th Annual International Spring Festival is looking for volunteers for Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 11:00AM-5:00PM. The festival was started by members of the Lansdale Public Library International Club who were looking for a way to celebrate their cultural diversity while showing their pride in being Americans. The International Spring Festival promotes cultural understanding by offering a variety of ethnic food, entertainment, children’s activities and educational displays. Volunteer assignments include: assisting with children’s activities, staffing booths, running errands, setting up tables (Friday April 20, 3:30-9 PM) and tearing down tables (immediately after festival 5-7 PM).

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer yourself, please call Tom Meyer at the Lansdale Public Library at 215-362-2666 or email director@lansdalelibrary.org.

Can you help us recruit volunteers? If so, please write an article about volunteering for the festival in your bulletin, newsletter or website. You can contact Tom at the above number for a press release.
